ABOUT US

Go Performance Horses is owned and operated by Peta and Martin Strong.  It was established in
1998 with the goal of producing outstanding competition horses.

Peta has always been around horses and has owned a horse since she was 5 years old.  She has
competed extensively throughout pony club and attended numerous Royal hack shows with great
success.  She competed at advanced level in young rider competitions.  Since then it has been the sport
of dressage that she has loved the most.  She began her career as a Veterinary Nurse in 1991 and now,
together with Martin, manages both the property and their two veterinary practices.  Peta and her mother
began breeding warmbloods together in 1991.

Martin has been a veterinarian since 1993 and has always had a keen interest in horses.  Having owned
a pony since he was 8 years old, he had ridden occasionally but it was not until marrying Peta that he
decided to get into dressage.

It became evident that without the right horse under you it would be very difficult to be competitive and so
their breeding program began.  Carefully bred and selected mares are the strength of their breeding.
Attention to nutrition of mares and foals, prevention of disease and professional management practices
are essential to produce quality horses.

Frozen semen insemination techniques have allowed Peta and Martin to select from the best stallions in
the world to use over their mares.
